Our headquarters is located in Tuscany, close to the Apuane Alps from which the famous white marbles, known all over the world, come from.
A history
of excellence
Magno & CO was founded in 1986 by the brothers Roberto and Renato Martinelli with the aim of dedicating themselves to the trade of marble and natural stones. Due to the awareness to operate with the entire natural stone supply chain, Martinelli brothers, constitute a second company with Antonio Lauria. This company, the Lamar, is consecrated solely to the processing of stone materials.
In the first years, the collaboration between Magno & CO and Lamar turns out to be profitable, thanks to the exchange of specific skills regarding materials and their transformation.
In 1990 Roberto Martinelli, as CEO, decides to devote himself exclusively to Magno & CO with the purpose of making it grow by establishing on the national and international market. Roberto is a farsighted business who imposes strategic decisions making use of the partnership of the major extraction Apuan Alps basins.
The company, immediately, achieved an excellent consensus on the market standing out for the high quality materials and the wide range of choice. Both the consultancy and the supply services are highly professional and contribute to giving the company a fair reputation.

We are particulary experts in Portuguese marbles, especially Rosa Portogallo. This fine materials is extracted from the quarries located in the basin of Estremoz.
